COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Teaching English to teenagers can be hard work, especially as the school year wears on. Your students get more stressed with exams, other subjects and with just being teenagers. And it becomes harder and harder for you to engage them with your lessons. There are only so many creative ideas you can have before you’re recycling the same activities again and again. We made this course for exactly this situation.

This course focuses on helping you create new lessons that will re-engage and re-engerise both you and your students. You’ll discover effective new techniques and how to adapt them for your students. You’ll also have afternoon seminars in Education and in Irish Culture. A minimum language level of Upper Intermediate (CEFR B2) is required for this programme.

*A minimum number of 6 participants is required to run the teacher training course. In the event that there are fewer than 6 people on the scheduled dates, General English classes will be offered in the morning at the appropriate level with the teacher training modules to be held in the afternoons.
