Creative use of Technology in the classroom – ALP-NT
ALPHA School of English

A course is offering practitioners an interesting programme of activities centred on the creative use of technology. Participants will gain theoretical and practical knowledge from our experienced staff for the duration of the course and it is hoped that you will be able to bring your own wealth of ideas to share in our friendly and informal discussions.

The content comprises trainer-led, group-based and independent activities. You will be expected to take a full and active part in all aspects of the course in order to maximise the teaching and learning opportunities we offer you. A wide range of IT ideas will be explored, creating a forum for experienced classroom practitioners to share and discuss teaching with technology in the modern age, such as: Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs), audio and video resources, APPs and Online Resources, Vlogging.

Aimed at: School Principals, Subject Department heads, teacher support and development staff, primary and secondary-level teachers (all subjects). It is strongly recommended that you bring a laptop and a handheld device, such as a small tablet or mobile phone, to the course so that you can participate fully in the practical elements of the programme. English levels: Intermediate (B1).

- Discussing Paper-Based Resources in Modern Classroom
- Discussing and Exploring Presentation Software and Collaborative Learning
- Reflection of the Course and Dissemination Day
